ARTES PIEDRAS B.V. began with a personal interest in lowering the costs of concrete pavers for initially the residential Bonairean market and secondly for upgrading the existing infrastructure of the Island which is in very bad condition. Bringing concrete pavers from Curacao and from Holland is a very expensive ordeal and impossible for the reach of the local Bonairean people to have excess too. By making the concrete pavers locally we can provide a much better price and can play into much faster deliveries.
ARTES PIEDRAS B.V. is the first and only concrete pavement stone manufacturer company on the Island of Bonaire.
At the moment Artes Piedras B.V. is manufacturing 10 different concrete pavers design models and has realized several projects on the Island of Bonaire.

Why Choose Concrete Pavers
Advantages
Pavers can be walked on immediately upon compaction. Cracking, which is common with traditional asphalt and concrete pavements, is not an issue with these interlocking concrete pavers due to the joints between the pavers. Interlocking concrete pavers are a flexible system and allow for movement, they are almost indestructible, the pavement system moves in unison with the earth’s usual tendency to swell and contract over the long term thus avoiding any serious damage.
Safety
Pavers are very safe pavement material for outdoor applications. When the top surface of paver is oily due to the passing of vehicle over them, it is very safe to walk and drive a vehicle over them. It is also safe when the top surface of the interlocking paver block is wet; there is no problem for walking or no tension of slipping over them. Interlocking pavers are slip resistant and skid resistant.
Quick to Install
It is easy to install without using any heavy machinery or equipment, and it is in around 3 to 4 days. After installation, you can immediately use block paving for walking and can be open to the traffic. Mortar is not required for installation of the paver.
